Little Mermaid

The sun shone lightly dims in the clear sky, 
crowned with a rainbow there, up above it.
While seagulls boldly chose to fly, 

as if without a care, soaring high up.

As clouds rolled by ablaze with the light, 
a ship sailed to the shore, above the waves.
Both blue and white, that danced forever more.

Below the waves where three dolphins leap, 
triumphant full of glee, joy and laughter.
The little mermaid's dreams were kept within.
Her Father's Kingdom full of charm and grace
and wonders rarely known, were not enough
to take the place. Of dreams she called her own.

The little mermaid had made her way, 
From deep blue seas to the land of dreams.

Warmth comes with the light, drying the salt skin 
Where one man took her breath away.

Smiled so bright, he lighten up her world

He looked so charmed, they day he held her hand.
Two beating souls are now becoming one.  

Castle waters cheered, every sea creature

smiled with joy more than enough.
Beneath God's brilliant golden lite sun, 
Where lovers fall in love, in the waves of foam.

The young man smiled, for he had found.

A treasure divine, more beautiful than

all that is around. His little valentine.

The little mermaid’s dreams came true in blue.

He kissed her once and then twice once more.
