Mermaids
aren’t Disney dolls
Mermaids
are way more interesting
Mermaids
and Merman
are
men the women lost in the sea
Persuaded
by the beautiful blue waters
Where
their souls will always swim
The
sea consumes them
Eating
them they becoming them
Wearing
coral and fungi and flowers
Each
merperson has their clothing
Each
merperson watches
A
different place of the sea
Forever
staring they keep looking farther
Deeper
into the blue
The
currents always pass
The
water always moves
The
fishes always swim
The
water around them is never the same
But
the mermaid stand there, stoned forever
In the changing sea
They
connect holding hands
Alone
only seeing their Letter of the compass
But
together the whole ocean they encompass
With
their stone eyes, they see the blue world
As
the year pass and the coral grows
Still
embraced in their stone community
In
a world of waves
Like
warriors of the water
Protectors
of the sea
