Alyssa and Julia

Julia lived Kentucky.
Alyssa lived in Rome.
Julia grazed right by
With a lawnmower.
Not a single blade remained un-mown.
The sharp edges spin round and round.
Julia was one of the biggest clowns
Around the town.
Alyssa bore a baby
Under her fathers name.
She remained loving and gentle
With a big heart and tall goals.
Alyssa came to visit
Her now sick sister
Brought some medicine from Rome.
Gave it to her sister and took her home.
When Julia said her last goodbye
Her sister wept
Her lawnmower, rusted and worn
Remain at home.
