Oh Gosh by Levi Kyllo

Oh Gosh

Oh gosh, this poem can't be real.
Mermaids play fighting with silly string
Near Atlantis, inside a lighthouse.
A lighthouse? Built of sandbuckets.
Thanks Obama, your Hawaiian generosity
Is looked up to like a kite.
IRS taking money, stingy as hell
Like obese people scarfing down
The entire cake,
Savoring the cake crumbs.
They're like iscicles
Melting and falling
Like reverse sprinklers.
Like no food in the desert,
These kittens hardly surviving
Until the hero Abhishek
Comes to save them.
Quite the opposite of
King Henry VIII,
Killing his wives
With items unknown.
No, Abhishek brings
Ochellos and music
To homeless musicians.
Bendable straws and can openers
To the kids in need.
He's the chalk to
Every teacher's chalk board.
The paint to all
Artist's paintcans.
This poem calls for
A wacko. A silly person
To figure out what the point is.
Hell, I don't even know.
My phone being brilliant
As it tells me the time
I need to go to bed.
The alarm is set
And I'm about to dream
Of mermaids and cake.
