Shutters by Joey Ng

Shutters by Joey Ng

Imagine rebirth and it is like this;
A melody quenching the thirst
For the unseen and unsullied;
All must be new to feed
Gourmand appetites
For something worth doting upon.

In an age of quick gratification
Where anonymity is true to norm,
All too easy to be slave of form;
Shuttered windows stacked
In schemes of vision, high definition.

A pittance for what it’s worth,
The countless hours in migration.
But with so much left to see, what is there
To touch, breathe and taste on glass spoons
Clearer than any interactions
