Blue on Blue and pink on white
The colors of summer
We see them swirl and shuffle
Like the birds and the bees
She’s just away they say
She sees the summer from another window
I just nod my head
And let my brain soak in the heat
Let the blue on blue melt on my hands
Let the pink and white peel away
I hope to never forget
So I keep the flowers growing
Blue on blue and pink on white
