A Joke in Rhyme By Ellyssa Pearce

Believe me what happened next wasn’t okay
I turned the corner to see a man looking my way
I caught a start
Because he didn’t look the part
To be a so called work of art

His skin was bare
With no pockets to share
How he came to the corner of this room
So I asked him to loom
So I could pursue
This troubling view of the nude

I asked the man how he came to be
He said this bloke was crazy you see
He wanted to express how he felt to the rest
So he left me poor and severely undressed
