Mission Impossible By Melissa Campana

Mission Impossible

Army crawling on a mission
Forearm, knee, forearm, knee
Can’t be spotted by the enemy
Must make it to the kitchen.

Forearm, knee, forearm, knee
We’ve made it to the living room
Must make it to the kitchen
I’ll peep my head around the corner.

We’ve made it to the living room
We must pray she doesn’t catch us
I’ll peep my head around the corner
The enemy is completely unaware.

We must pray she doesn’t catch us
We’re stuck behind the couch until she turns around
The enemy is completely unaware
We can take shelter under the dining room table.

We’re stuck behind the couch until she turns around
You mustn’t make a sound across the squeaky floor
We can take shelter under the dining room table
Then summersault to the jackpot.

You mustn’t make a sound across the squeaky floor
We’ll keep an eye on our surroundings
Then summersault to the jackpot
Now possessing the hidden treasure.

We’ll keep an eye on our surroundings
Now we must make it back to base
Now possessing the hidden treasure
The mission isn’t over yet.

Now we must make it back to base
To enjoy our treasure in privacy
The mission isn’t over yet
We’ll feast without the enemy.

To enjoy our treasure in privacy
We must first make it through the living room
We’ll feast without the enemy
If we are skilled enough to succeed.

We must first make it through the living room
We’ll army crawl all the way across
If we are skilled enough to succeed
We’ll set up camp under my bed.

We’ll army crawl all the way across
Finally we’ve made it back to base
We’ll set up camp under my bed
To enjoy our cookies, as many as we need.

Finally we’ve made it back to base
Without the enemy discovering our plan
To enjoy our cookies, as many as we need
Then crouches down the enemy, “Hey, leave some for me!”
