Chim Chimney by: Nicole Busch

Chim Chimney
By: Nicole Busch

High on top of the chim chimney world,
holding on tightly with my small fingers.
Spinning around and around in circles,
I danced high up on my daddy’s shoulders.

Holding on tightly with my small fingers
ducking under doorways, my head not hit.
I danced high up on my daddy’s shoulders.
Singing, jointly, but not in harmony.

Ducking under doorways, my head not hit
A sweep is as lucky, as it can be.
Singing, jointly, but not in harmony.
Or blow me a kiss and that’s lucky too.

A sweep is as lucky, as it can be
I make a wish, and then get spun around.
Or blow me a kiss and that’s lucky too.
There’s a bright-lit sparkle inside my eyes.

I make a wish, and then get spun around
Laughing, so child-like, hair in pigtails,
There’s a bright-lit sparkle inside my eyes.
My dad’s wealthy voice, mine so different.

Laughing, so child-like, hair in pigtails
Running through the house, dog hot on our tail
My dad’s wealthy voice, mine so different.
My mommy filming us, just for the thrill.

Running through the house, dog hot on our tail
Looking through pictures, having so much fun.
My mommy filming us, just for the thrill
Loosing a shoe, putting on his huge hat.

Looking through pictures, having so much fun
Flying, twirling on my daddy’s shoulders.
